When I moved to China in 2016, people would often ask why I would want to leave the United States. America is a great melting pot and marketplace, a land of plenty where one can get anything that they dream of. Why would anyone possibly want to leave the best country on earth?
While I do believe that America is one of the foremost countries on earth where one has the freedom to succeed (or at least more freedom to do so than in other countries), it was simply not where I needed to be.
What many people do not realize is that an American passport can be leveraged overseas. If the American Dream cannot be obtained within the physical borders of the USA, an American passport can jumpstart the dream overseas.
Getting Paid and Getting Laid
Why let the megacorporations and Charisma Men make all of the money and have all of the fun? In 2015, I was the archetypal loser back home. I was unsuccessful in my dating life and was living paycheck-to-paycheck working multiple jobs without benefits.
Teaching abroad in China helped me to discover new opportunities, get out of debt, and have proximity to an abundance of attractive women. Had I stayed in America, I likely would have remained stuck in a rut. My personal development would have never seriously jumpstarted. I haven’t quite gotten a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel but getting my share of love tunnels and more cash in my pocket motivated me to keep chugging towards the goal.
Seeing the Frontier Before it is All Gone
Beyond meeting my physical needs, being immersed in a foreign culture helped me to develop mentally. Traveling helped to motivate me with new sights and sounds. Becoming accustomed to life abroad helped me to discover finding both external and internal. Like Lt. Dunbar (Kevin Costner) in Dances With Wolves, I wanted to see the frontier before it is all gone. With travel being a challenge in the age of COVID-19, I am glad that I got to go overseas when I did.
Why I Came Back
Life in China was not the type of adventure like one may see in movies, but was a great experience nonetheless. If I had such a great time and grew so much in China, why did I come back to the world?
I did it for a girl…
I came back to America because my ex-girlfriend was studying here. As you know, I ended up getting cucked, but ended up staying in the States. I am glad that I stayed.
After breaking up with my ex-girlfriend, I was inclined to head right back to China to reinvigorate my dating life. However, I had landed a good job and was making good money in the States. This, along with being closer to my family, kept me in place.
I regret being a Super Saiyan Simp for an undeserving woman, but I lucked out and fell forward.
My intention was to stabilize financially to become a father; I ended up getting on a better financial path for myself. There is greater satisfaction in knowing that my wagecucking is paying off and that I am putting my earning to work making more money than getting all of the P-sleeve in China. For the moment, I am once again where I need to be.
